A week ago, a horrendous crime took place in a nursing home in Carthage, North Carolina. Seven innocent lives were taken by an unhinged dirtbag apparently upset at his ex-wife. Fortunately, a brave police officer answered the call, engaged the perpetrator in a gun fight, and though he took three rounds to the legs, managed to deliver a center-mass hit onto said dirtbag, dropping him in his tracks. This courageous officer kept his head, and, with bullets pounding around and into him, kept his muzzle on target long enough to bring to an end a tragedy that may have been a whole lot worse.
There have been so many school shootings over the last 40 years that researchers have been able to develop a profile of the typical mass murderer. They’re called “active shooters” or “active killers” and their crimes play out in a matter of minutes.
Banning guns is in the news. India practically bans guns, but that didn’t stop the horrific Muslim terrorist attacks this last week.
A football player concerned for his safety violates New York City’s tough gun control regulations by carrying a concealed handgun, and people call for everything from banning NFL players from carrying guns to demanding that the athlete serve many years in jail. Read more
It is a proven fact that states and regions with shall-issue have less crime than those that are may-issue or no-issue. To make matters worse, “may-issue” is commonly used as a tool of corruption and political favoritism in those counties that practice it.
Let’s not become victim to a dangerous, politically corrupt system of may-issue CCW. Together we win!
